Invited here for a food tasting session cum bloggers meetup by Genuine Broaster Chicken to taste there veg burgers, finger food, Indie selection and lip-smacking desserts.
Genuine Broaster Chicken is a 60 years old brand based out of the US and first time entering the Indian Markets. They have opened three outlets in Mumbai (Versova) & Raipur (Shankar Nagar) & Surat (Adajan) already, and launched their first outlet in Kolkata on 23rd November.
Don't confused with the name they serve veg dishes too which were equally delicious to the non veg once. They have tied up with Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi & created a special menu for Broaster's which make our taste buds happy.
Location - This outlet of broaster Chicken located in the 3B, Shop C, Dr. U.N. Brahmachari Street, Loudon Street Area. You can easily navigate the exact location on google maps by searching 3 Loudon street on it.
Décor - Décor was retro and classy. Cool looking decoration which attracts youth the youngsters. classy low lights with modern music deadly combination. Sitting was cozy, classy colorful tables beautifully designed. Bricks wall with cartoon drawings. Black board wall with written tagline "American Soul Indian Heart" American Origin frames on walls and retro lights very attractive and eye catching.
Ambience - Ambience was really good we bloggers spend amazing time together. Hospitality was also very nice the waiters, Chef and Manager all were very friendly and helpful. they take care of us very well. Service was in reasonable time and presentation was beautiful. Very reasonable price on comparison with taste, quality and quantity.
Now let's move on to that part for which we are here that is reviewing. I'm going to start with beverages first in which we have in total four drinks to taste -
* Chul Bul - This was a Soda based cola flavored drink with hint of chat masala. cola flavor was refreshing and fizzy but a basic one. it was a must have drink with burgers.
* Bul Bul - Bul Bul was the shows topper. A must try drink highly recommended to all. Orange Soda based drink with hint of salted caramel and cumin syrup. deliciously refreshing, bubbly and fizzy. Taste was unique and delicious. my personal favorite totally loved it.
* Raspberry Milkshake - It was one of my favorite milkshakes. Creamy, refreshing, sweet and little tangy milkshake made by blending raspberries, vanilla ice cream and milk. It was very delicious in taste. loved it.
* Cold Coffee - Simple and classy cold coffee. taste was refreshing and delicious. perfectly made with perfect quantity of coffee powder, milk and sugar. just the way i like it.
That's all with the mouth watering beverages. now let's move to the "American Soul Indian Heart" snacks and review them.
* Tex-Mex - Perfectly made Salted French fries mixed with finely chopped tomatoes and coriander leaves comes with cheesy and spicy tangy twist of cheesy mayo and tomato chilly sauce. taste was really good and served with mayo and salsa dips.
* Cheesy BBQ - another french fries dish maked with Salted french fries which were perfectly made with added some finely chopped tomatoes and coriander leaves and they comes with poured Spicy Barbeque sauce and mozzarella cheese. taste was heavenly delicious and served with mayo and salsa dips.
* Thai Paneer Cigars - Crispy and Crunchy fingers stuffed with Paneer, cottage cheese, coriander leaves and spring onions tastes salty crispy from outside and melting soft & creamy from inside. very delicious in taste and served with spicy mayo and tomato salsa dips.
* Palak Paneer - No don't confused with the name. it's not palak paneer saag instead it was their Chef's special veg burger.
Green colored bread to show the name/flavor accordance and type too filled with lettuce, chopped tomatoes & onions in Cheesy Spicy Mayo, special palak paneer patty and sanskari aloo patty (adds on) tastes amazingly delicious. very tasty and unique in kind.
* Jain Paneer Bhurji Platter - Scrambled Paneer cooked in North Indian style with lot's of masalas in tomato & cream puree tastes true punjabi. very delicious in taste served with Butter Paratha which was perfectly made and steam rice. all garnished with coriander leaves. **In pic there are two non veg dishes too 1) Begum Kheema and 2) Goan Fish Curry.
* Maa Ke Chawal - Another North Indian Dish Co-Created by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. This was a Masala Khichdi made with full of Indian spices and curry with added lots of veggies and paneer. Very spicy and heavenly delicious in taste. It was traditionally good and served with smoked papad in Rajasthani style.
That's all with the Americal and Indian Snacks Folks. All were amazingly delicious and we ended our food tasting event with an Delicious dessert reviewed below -
* Chocolate Samosa - Thin layered crispy samosa stuffed with melting chocolate taste amazingly delicious served with mango ice cream scoop which was so flavorful and tastes heavenly. Very delicious dessert. loved it.
So that's it guys but before i rapt up let me clearly said you that vegetarians don't go by the name. they have evenly delicious veg food and even jain food also. So both vegetarian and non vegetarians guys must visit here. i'm assuring you'll that you going to love this place. Personal favorite outlet. highly recommended to all loved it.
