Here to Attend the Bloggers Meetup with #BengalBitesBack team Invited by The owner Priyadarshini Dey. Event is organised by herself in collaboration with Shahbaaz Zaman.
It was an multi cuisine dine in restaurant which serves Thai, Asian, Chinese, singaporean etc cuisines. Situated in Southern Avenue besides Rashbihari crossing just 2-3 minutes walking from Kalighat metro on the 1st floor of the building where CCD was. If we talk about place it was damn sexy. Very rich looking restaurant. From decor to sitting arrangement all were very ravishing and luxurious. It was an perfect luxurious dine in restaurant which serves delicious cuisine and where easily 50-60 people can sit.
Come to Ambience It was really nice. peaceful environment and friendly hosts deadly combination. Hospitality by Staffs and owner herself was just amazing. they all were very friendly and take care of their gusts very well. That's why their service was also very good because owner herself put the kitchen cap and continually went to kitchen and taking care of the presentation and way of serving. and ya presentation of dishes were also beautifully done. very impressed with the hospitality and the way they treat their gusts. i'm because of that and their delicious cuisine they gonna make large no. of regular customers.
Now the time come of the thing which i like the most in bloggers meetup which is tasting. we have plenty of delicious dishes and refreshing beverages to taste which i'm going to review.
So let's start with Mocktails first. We have some simple looking but interesting mocktails to taste which were reviewed below -
* Heavens Calling - It was an sprite based refreshment with added some lime juice and khus sharbat. taste was very refreshing and because of khus it tastes rich too. served in curved long glass which was very attractive.
* Deep Sea - Deep Sea was my favorite drink from the menu. It was also sprite base with added some lime juice to increase the refreshment & tangyness and hint of grenadine syrup for sweet & tart touch and they also added some chat masala in it to complete the most refreshing & delicious mocktail. It was served in portuguese Madeira glass which giving it the rich touch.
* Cinderella - Another Sprite based cooler which was very refreshing and tangy in taste. they added orange, lime and pineapple juice in it with a hint of grenadine syrup and make a delicious refreshment. served in curved glass which was very attractive in looks.
* Pineapple Blossom - It was an simple pineapple shake which was made in smoothie style. taste was just amazing full of flavour and creamy taste. served in attractive looking tall glass with pored melted chocolate on inner side of the glass.
* Strawberry Blossom - full of flavored strawberry shake made in smoothie style. taste was good but it was not well mixed or shaked because some part of syrup was remained unmixed at bottom of glass. because of that it tastes little more sweeter in last sips. rest all good.
* Fruit punch - It was an combination of tangy and sweet shake made from Strawberry crust, pineapple and orange juice. they also added some vanilla ice cream in it to give a smoothie touch. It was very delicious, refreshing and mind blowing tangy & sweet shake. presented very beautifully in a tall glass.
They serves us couple of very interesting and delicious snacks to taste with the mocktails which were reviewed below -
* Naram Dil - The first thing comes in mind after heard the name is it's an non-veg dish a heart of some animal but it was completely a opposite vegetarian dish just according to it's name heart shaped snack which was soft from inside. A kabab dish crispy and crunchy from outside made of deep fried corn flacks stuffed with creamy and soft paneer, boiled peas and crushed green chillies. very delicious in taste spicy, crunchy and creamy. loved it.
* Khumb Galawati Kabab - The word galawati maeans melt in mouth. This was an vegetarian version of that Awadhi dish. Too soft kababs made of veggies and some secret spices with mini parathas in base and garnished with basil leaf and onion ring on top tastes so delicious. very tasty and interesting dish. a must try. recommended to all.
SO that's all with the snacks and beverages but before moving on to the main course we have couple of soups to taste one veg and one non-veg. both were delicious but i tasted the veg one only which was reviewed below -
* Tomato Dhaniya Ka Shorba - The traditional tomato soup which served with coriander leaves in it. consistency wise it was perfect and it's taste was also good. perfectly made and because of coriander leaves soup tastes ans smells more aromatic.
Let's move on to main course now where we have delicious combination of North Indian and Mughlai cuisine. reviewed below -
* Maharaja Kofta - Rich and traditional version of malai kofta. two paneer based kofta made with smashed veggies in thick creamy, sweet and spicy gravy. taste was out of the world it was so delicious. presented in a way that looks like made for king of somewhere. garnished with cheery and coriander leaves on top. mouth watering delicious dish. their vegetarian pride and my personal favorite. must try recommended to all.
* Vegetable Dulhari - It was an delicious north Indian dhaba dish. made with Mushroom, peas, beans, spinach, green chillies and coriander leaves in thick tomato based spicy and creamy gravy. It was finger leaking tasty dish. beautifully presented garnished with ginger & coriander leaves on top. my favorite personally recommended.
* Paneer Karachi - to be called as paneer butter masala also. Tradional punjabi dish made of soft and creamy paneer in a thick spicy and creamy gravy based cashew and tomato. true punjabi taste heavenly delicious. garnished with coriander leaves and ginger.
* Dal Bukhara - another traditional punjabi dish tastes so delicious. pure kali dal cooked in a way just like cooked in home. traditional spicy and creamy taste. perfectly made. loved it.
* Breads - In breads we have Cheese garlic naan which was perfectly made. cheesy buttery naan with the aroma and taste of garlic tastes really good. we also had a mohini naan which is quite similar to egg roll with full of coriander leaves in it.
* Khumb Bori Biryani - Vegetable biryani but not the regular one infact this was par more delicious and aromatic then that. made with full of veggies and herbs. taste was delicious and smells was aromatic. totally loved it. personal favorite. must try highly recommended to all.
That's it with the delicious main course. we ended our dinner with the couple desserts which were very yummy and reviewed below -
* Date Pancake with Vanilla Ice Cream - I have to think twice before try it because my previous experiences with Date pancakes wasn't good but surprisingly this wasn't disappoint me. it was damn delicious fried pancake filled with delicious date fruits tastes amazing. served with vanilla ice cream which was garnished with honey and white sesame seeds also tastes good.
* Badaam Firni - A traditional punjabi dish which was milk and rice based thick creamy dessert. served in clay pot. lookwise it was very rich and delicious. less sweet but taste was average.
Experience was just amazing. like to thank the staff they did really good job. Priyadarshini Dey, Shahbaaz Zaman and team #B3 for that lovely evening. Perfect luxurious dine in restaurant. my personal favorite. must try place. highly recommended to all.
